Just Jeriah

Lately I have been blogging a lot about Noah, he has just changed so much in the past few weeks I can't seem to keep up with it all.  However, this post is all about Jeriah.  He too has been changing and growing (much too fast if you ask me :) ).  Jeriah has been pulling up on everything since about 4 months.  He has been eager to run and play like his big brother for some time now.  At around 4 months Jeriah would see Noah running from one side of the house to the other and he would kick like crazy.  I was worried for awhile that he would go straight to walking and skip crawling all together (crawling is such an important milestone).  He did start crawling around 6 1/2 months (backwards at first then forward a couple weeks later).  Now he is an EXPERT crawler and will crawl through the house, room to room, on his own exploring...eeekkk!  When he sees something he wants he will SPEED crawl and is pretty dang fast (I love it when he speed crawls to me belly laughing because he is so excited that I am about to pick him up...mommies need video cameras on our foreheads don't we?!).  About a month or so ago he started walking with the help of the couch, coffee table, etc, anything on his level.  Then in early February he used his walker and walked down the hall all on his own.  The walker in the picture is pretty tired but it is the BEST walker ever.  We haven't been able to find another like it.  Jeriah is now the 3rd boy to use it (it was given to us when I was pregnant with Noah by our God Son's parents...thanks Aunt Jenn and Uncle Ken!)  Jeriah will walk a little then stop, sit and play with the truck.  He is saying mama a lot (which I love to hear, Noah said dada first).  He is also beginning to get into all of his brother's things.  Anything Noah is interested in Jeriah goes after.  Noah is having to learn the art of compromise, redirection and sharing.  Well, it is hard to write about it all (each day holds something new when they are this age) but that covers some of the highlights for now.  Her are some pics...

Don't you just love his hair in all the pics.  It is crazy.  You should see it when he first wakes up...hilarious!
